Ike Onuoha, is an American citizen by choice, Nigerian by birth, and resident of Newport Beach, CA. IKE is a happily married man with two children, and he speaks three languages fluently. He grew up in the ghettos of Ajegunle in Lagos, Nigeria before relocating to the United States. IKE started modeling shortly after moving to the U.S., and he has since starred in several films and music videos. In the summer of 2018, IKE discovered another side of himself and began seeking knowledge about his true identity. He is now a content creator and motivational speaker, helping people to become aware of what they are capable of being!

My name is ike onuoha, ike is short for ikechukwu (god’s power) and onuoha (mouth of the people).
I am an american citizen by choice, a nigerian by birth and i reside newport beach, ca also by choice.
I am a happily married man to jaqueline and i am a father of two beautiful kids – mia (11yr) girl & jayden-ike (4yr) boy.
I have seven siblings, i am the fourth born child out of a total of eight children. No doubt my parents were very busy doing the nasty, nasty huh! Lol.
I speak three languages fluently, english, igbo and pigeon (broken) english. Languages i speak but not fluently are yoruba and spanish.
I grew up in the ghettos of ajegunle in lagos, nigeria, where i attended primary and secondary schools. Then went to the prestigious university of lagos, a.K.A unilag.
I did not graduate college after 5 years of schooling. I got the opportunity to relocate to america on a green card lottery program and i never looked back since. I can hear your thoughts: why didn’t you just stay and finish after coming so close, why did you not continue electrical engineering in america, why did you not get the green card, go back to nigeria and finish the program and come back to be this great engineer. Etc, etc to which i say mind your own business. Keep your opinions to yourself!
I went to university of houston for two years, (go cougars) [can you still say the chant when you didn’t go to a college for 4 years?] graduated with an associates degree in nuclear medicine technology from houston community college systems.
I started modeling in houston shortly after attending a 6 months modeling and grooming workshop at the mayo hill school of modeling. Did fashion shows and print commercials then decided to move to los angeles, ca to pursue an acting career.
Ike packed all his stuff and relocated to la two weeks after visiting for the red carpet premiere of the movie my friend acted in. ‘tears of the sun’ directed by antoine fuqua and starring bruce willis and monica belushi.
Ike joined acting classes and workshops with joel asher, playhouse west and a host of others.
Ike joined the screen actors guild now aftra-sag union after playing a border patrol agent in the movie directed by steven speilberg ‘the terminal’ featuring tom hanks and catherine zeta jones!
Ike have been featured in various music videos like :
- Beyonce’ – ‘naughty girls,’
- Kelly clarkson – ‘walk away,’
- John legend and feat kanye west – ‘used to love you’
Ike starred in his first nollywood production in 2006. Soon after he started his production company ike steele productions to produce his first film ‘the immigrant’
It premiered at cannes film festivals in 2008.
In 2010 i starred in another nollywood productions ‘american nurse 2’ and in 2010 i featured on the daytime drama numbers, season 1, episode 3 ‘safety in number’ featuring keifer sunderland and gugu mbatha-raw, danny glover.
I started doing red carpet premieres, interviews, youtube shows etc.
My awakening, in 2020 i discovered another side of me after watching the movie ‘the secret – the law of attraction.’ i quickly started following teachers, seeking more knowledge and understanding where did i come from, who am i, what am i doing here and where am i going after here. Answers to these questions help me become who i am today!
